FREE PRESS, WEDNESDAY, JUNE 13, 193 fire report courtesy Carpentersville Fire Dept. GAS WASH DOWN Monday, June 4, 12:17 p.m.,, Apt. 2D had fallen asleep while frying some steaks. Firemen quickly put out the fire and no loss was reported. PERSONAL INJURY Friday, June 8, 1:56 a.m.

McWhorter Chemical. Firemen were called when William C. Stockwell of 369 South Ann Elgin, fell while working on dumpster, firemen administered first aid and transported Mr. Stockwell to St. Joseph's Hospital.

PERSONAL INJURY Friday, June 8, 4:05 p.m. 716 Navajo. Firemen were called when Mary C. Williams of above address fell from a ladder while painting a garage, Firemen administered first aid and transported her to Sherman Hospital. TRASH FIRE Friday, June 8, 6:21 p.m.

Carpenter Park. Firemen were called when a fire was discovered coming from a trash container. Firemen quickly extinguished the fire. No loss was reported. INHALATOH -Saturday, June 9, 1:21 p.m.

113 Green Lane. Firemen were called when James L. Biggerstaff of above address became ill. Firemen administered first aid and advised him to see his doctor. TRASH FIRE Saturday, June 9, 2:14 p.m.

Sunny Hill School. The fire department was called when a trash fire at Sunny Hill School was discovered. Firemen quickly extinguished the fire and no loss was reported. PERSONAL INJURY Saturday, June 9, 8: 16 p.m. Meadowdale Rte.

25. Firemen were called when Mr. Howard M. Vick of 2337 Arrow, while riding a motorcycle collided with an auto. Firemen administered first aid and transported him to Sherman Hospital.

RUBBISH FIRE Saturday, June 9, 8:49 p.m. 815 Ollie Ct. Firemen were called when a fire was discovered in a rubbish container. Fire was contained to the rubbish container. No damage was reported.

INHALATOH Sunday, June 10, 9:17 p.m. 1714 Papoose. Firemen were called when Cherie Kellogg of above address had difficulty breathing. Firemen administered oxygen and she was taken to Sherman Hospital. Take Your Best Girl To The Movies the above address when gasoline spilled from Mr.

Jerry Gilmore's car. Firemen washed down the gas and no fire or damage was reported. NATURAL GAS ODOR Wednesday, June 6, 9:33 p.m. 101 Meadowdale. Sheryl White of Apt.

308 called the fire department when she smelled gas in the apartment building. Upon arrival firemen checked the hallways for gas fumes and found the strongest odor on the 3rd floor. Mr. Leonard Holmberd, ground supervisor for the Meadowdale opened the 3rd floor doors, and found the gas leak on a kitchen stove in a vacant apartment. The firemen shut off the gas and cleared the building of gas fumes and instructed Mr.

Holmberd to cap off the gas pipe. SMOKE INVESTIGATION Thursday, June 7, 11 :26 a.m. Paul's Sausage Shop, Meadowdale Shopping Center. Firemen arrived and checked area and found nothing. PERSONAL INJURY Thursday, June 7, 1:23 p.m.

Cooks Dept. Store. Firemen arrived to find Mr. Herbert C. Baun of Algonquin had cut his arm.

Firemen administered first aid and transported him to Sherman Hospital. PERSONAL INJURY Thursday, June 7, 6:44 p.m. 140 Sioux. Firemen were called when Karen Davis of 112 Sioux was riding her bike and her foot slipped through the spokes. Firemen administered first aid and took her to Sherman Hospital.

SMOKE INVESTIGATION Friday, June 8, 12:23 a.m. 804 Ollie Ct. Lorraine M. Denison of same address apt. 2A called firemen when she smelled smoke in the building.

Firemen arrived to find Mr. Milton West of r.i. iiino mcv.cuina. ivir. mine tsurKe, personnel supervisor of Hills McCanna called the Fire Department when he noticed a puddle of gas on the street under the car of Nicholas Marivalla, an employee of Hills McCanna.

Upon arriving, firemen washed down the gas, with no damage reported. I NH ALA TOR Monday, June 4, 8:03 p.m. 128 N. Washington St. Firemen responded to the above address when Dorothy Bird of 404 Lord reported that Mr.

Henry Schwartz of 128 Washington was having breathing difficulties. Firemen administered oxygen and transferred Mr. Schwartz to Sherman Hospital. INHALATOH Monday, June 4, 11:08 p.m., Big Boy Restaurant. Mr.

Bob Gaeth, an employee at Big Boy called the fire department when Mrs. Carla Schmeckel, also an employee of Big Boy, had become ill. Firemen responded and administered first aid and Mrs. Schmeckel was taken to St. Joseph Hospital.

INHALATOH Tuesday, June 5, 6:19 p.m., 2014 I Berkshire Cr. Firemen were called to the above address by Mrs. Kathleen Sovia when her son Chad Sovia became ill. Upon arrival firemen administered first aid and Chad Sovia was taken to Sherman Hospital. PERSONAL INJURY Tuesday, June 5, 6:55 p.m.
