Beulah was born on October 8, 1930, in Hodgenville, Kentucky to Austin Peter and Clara (Tharpe) Burba. She married James Skaggs on May 27, 1949. Sheis survived by her son, Randy (Brenda) Skaggs of Princeton; her daughters, Sandra McCauley of Princeton, and Belinda Klein of Cherry; seven grandchildren, Jeremy (Breanna Thomas) Skaggs of Princeton, Sarah (B.J. Storm) Skaggs of Tiskilwa, J.D. (Melissa) Rutledge of Princeton, Justin (Stephanie and Zane Shofner) Rutledge of Princeton, Katie Hebl of Princeton, Missy Stier of Cherry, and Christopher (Jennifer) Stier of Cherry; 15 great-grandchildren, Eli Skaggs, Jase Skaggs, Caleb, Marrisa, and Kory Storm, Emily, Collin, and Ella Rutledge, Sophie, Sylvie, and Sadie Rutledge, Jaden, and Bentley Williams, Damian, and Elena Stier; her brother, Jay (Dorothy) Burba of Manlius; and her sister, Wilma Anderson of Sterling.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bud, on March 5, 2000; her brother, Norman Burba; her sister, Pauline Funderberg; and her son-in-law, Marin W. Klein. Clare Medical Center. He was born July 29, 1952 in Salzburg, Austria the son of Nikolaus and Maria (Magraff) Altmayer. Nik is survived by one daughter, Elizabeth (Jeremy) Zawistowski of Tiskilwa, Illinois; one grandson, Jared; two sisters, Maria (Harvey) House of Princeton, and Ursula Sanchez of Princeton; one nephew, Paul (Viki) House of Virginia; three nieces, Heidi (Jeff) Olson of Minnesota, Chelsea Sanchez of Princeton, and Ericka (Rob Comer of Princeton; one great-nephew, Robert Comer; and one great- niece, Amayah Comer of Princeton. He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Leonhard Altmayer; and his granddaughter, Evelyn Rose Zawistowski. He graduated from Ellsworth Kansas High School with the Class of 1970.

Nik retired from the City of Princeton, but was employed at Aperion Care Princeton. He served in the United States Marine Corps and the Army. Nik enjoyed playing kings corner, scooter rides, and playing at the park with his grand- son, Jared. He also liked to spend time with his family and friends. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m.

to 12:00 noon on Saturday, November 6, 2021 at Grant-Johnson Funeral Home, Princeton. A funeral service will be held at 12:00 noon Saturday, November 6, 2021 following the visitation at the funeral home with Pastor Tom Odell, officiating. Burial will take place in Elm Lawn Memorial Park, Princeton with Military Rites conducted by the Princeton Veterans Group. Pallbearers will be Daniel Shaw, David Webster, David Lowdermilk, Erik Ellberg, Chelsea Sanchez, Quint Quiram, and Rob Comer In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to Princeton Christian Academy where his grandson attends. Individuals with an interest in public transportation are strongly encouraged to attend, especially human service organizations serving individuals who use public transpor- tation. The Regional Transportation Com- mittee is responsible for the develop- ment and implementation of the Human Services Transportation Plan (HSTP).

HSTP identifies transporta- tion needs and develops solutions to improve transportation services for the general public. An emphasis is placed on seniors, people with disabil- ities, individuals with lower incomes and veterans. The Illinois Department of Trans- portation has formed an agreement with North Central Illinois Council of Governments (NCICG) for the pur- poses of preparing, implementing and updating the plan for Region 1 (Boone, Carroll, Jo Daviess, Stephenson and Winnebago counties) and Region 3 (Bureau, DeKalb, Grundy, Kendall, LaSalle, Lee, Ogle and Putnam coun- ties).
